Heads up: DR Studio doesn't calculate a numeric Spam Score. The form opens available saved Domain Rating (DR) records instead. Fresh checks depend on provider availability, and DR alone does not determine whether a site is spammy.
What is Spam Score?
Moz publishes Spam Score with its own definitions and reporting context. It is separate from Ahrefs' Domain Rating, and DR Studio does not calculate it.
A score can prompt further investigation, but it does not by itself prove that a particular site is spammy or that a backlink is safe or valuable.
How to read the score
Check the provider's current scale, definitions and report date before comparing results. For Spam Score, consult Moz's current guidance.
Review the actual site, its content, relevance and backlinks before deciding what a result means for your use case.
DR + Spam Score together
Use metrics as context for a manual review. A high DR does not guarantee a good link, and a Spam Score alone does not make a site a liability. Consider relevance, content and the specific linking page alongside any scores.
