Domain Authority vs Domain Rating
Domain Authority (DA) was invented by Moz to predict how likely a site is to rank. Domain Rating (DR) is Ahrefs' equivalent, based on the strength and quantity of a site's backlinks. Both are scored 0–100. In practice, most SEO professionals now default to DR because Ahrefs runs a larger, faster-updating link index — so the score reflects reality sooner.

How to read the score
